Adele Gets Emotional During Concert Dedication to Orlando Victims

We started this week off in sorrow as we mourn the losses from the deadliest mass shooting in American history to date [Sunday, June 12]. The Orlando massacre has us all reevaluating life, values, equality and unconditional love.
Furthermore, Adele is not your typical publicity stunt artist. She has proved on multiple occasions how unfazed she is by fame and how genuine her passion is for her music. But, such a devastating tragedy was very personal for Adele and she couldn’t help but show how heavy it was currently weighing on her heart.

At the beginning of her first concert in Belgium on Sunday, she was certain to let her fans know that she would be dedicating the entire show to everybody in Orlando at Pulse Nightclub. She was very emotional as she expressed her deep connection to the LBGT community and how near and dear they are to her heart.
